Event description

Dancing Books Hounslow is a creative movement programme for women aged 60+, inspired by poetry, stories and literature.

Taking place in libraries and community settings across the borough, these welcoming sessions combine gentle movement, conversation and creativity to bring books and language to life. Together, participants explore poems, stories and ideas through movement, imagination and shared discussion.

No dance experience is needed, and activities can be adapted for different abilities and mobility levels, including seated participation. Whether you enjoy reading, meeting new people, being creative, or simply trying something new, Dancing Books offers a relaxed and supportive space to connect, move and explore.

Each session is designed to support wellbeing, encourage social connection and celebrate the joy of creativity at every age.
