The “Resurrection Symphony” unfolds as a transcendent journey from darkness to light. The symphony is cast in five movements which contemplate life and death on a cosmic scale. The symphony opens with an unstoppable funeral march, and culminates in an ecstatic hymn of resurrection—one of the greatest of all music climaxes.
There are no less than ten trumpets, ten horns, four trombones, two harps, organ, double woodwind, two vocal soloists, and a large mixed chorus. The scale of this work is remarkable in itself and we are very excited to be able to perform this work together.
Tickets are £16.00. Students under 18 are FREE with advance reservation.
150 Special Early Bird Tickets are available NOW at a reduced price of £13.00pp. Offer expires 31st December 2024 or until sold out!
