Friends of Osterley Park

The Friends of Osterley Park is a support group for the National Trust property Osterley Park and House near Isleworth. The Friends raise funds for the property and run a number of activities to increase awareness of other historic buildings, particularly those with links to Robert Adam the architect who "modernised" the Tudor house in the 18th century.

    Osterley Park is a unique country estate, hidden in a suburban location close to the Great West Road. The Tudor house, built for Sir Thomas Gresham, was transformed in the 1760s into a neoclassical mansion by the architect Robert Adam for the banker Robert Child. The House, retaining Adam’s origin.
