service
The primarily aim of the project is to bring significant changes in the lives of those children who are disadvantaged due to their circumstances.
HAYA is a Leading organisation which provides a service for ethnic minorities based in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Their dedicated staff provide support with housing and employment and education.
HAYA is rooted in the reality of young people's lives and informed by their real, practical knowledge of their own and other young people's situations. We believe that alienation and despair can be redressed when young refugees have opportunities to participate and learn, and find friendship, fun, belonging, hope and positive engagement in community with others.
Fundamental to our working process is a cultural exchange, educating and integration, and we share and learn through the expressive arts, sports and games, and talking together.
We don't just do things together, we reflect on what we do, and learn from it. The values of friendship, love and belonging are embedded in everything we do.
