Our organisation provides a range of high quality services, advice and training. Staff and trained volunteers offer friendship and practical help with daily living tasks through our Home Support and Advocacy Service to people who are blind and partially sighted. We are agents for British Wireless for the Blind Fund and supply digital pre-set radios and radio/cassette/CD players for people with visual impairment. Our highly experienced tutors provide Computer and I.T. Training using the most up to date technology. We provide Braille tuition for all levels of ability. Our Employment service gives advice and support for people with visual impairment wanting to get back into employment. All our activities are dependent upon donations and contributions

We provide a unique service for people who are blind and partially sighted to assist, support, and enable them to continue to live independently in their own homes, complementing the work carried out by the Rehabilitation Officers and other professionals.

The IT service provides support and training for people with visual impairment. You may already have computer systems in place, and just need further support, or you may know nothing as yet about how to join the online world.

The Rapid Response Counselling Service provides counselling and emotional support to those who are having difficulty coming to terms with or adapting to their sight loss. There is also a befriending element to the service to help reduce isolation.
