For more than twenty five years Spring Grove Residents’ Association has acted on behalf of residents on MANY local issues.
We have:
been instrumental in the removal of travellers and rubbish from the former Spring Grove laundry site, now Herbert Place
raised issues concerning density of development, car parking and overlooking of neighbouring premises with Linden Homes over planning application for Herbert Place
campaigned against increasing aircraft noise and further expansion of Heathrow
lobbied Thames Water on local flooding, particularly in The Drive
fought for improvements in the local roads/pavements/ shrubbery/tree management
been involved over several years in the struggle for the building of the Medical Centre, the Thornbury Road Centre for Health, which was part of the original planning permission for the site but was dropped by the developers
pursued the enforcement department of the LBH when developments breach their planning permissions
supported Campion Concerns over an acceptable development of the Campion House site
kept residents informed of events in the local area, and other events of interest in Greater London
