The land and community hall was acquired by St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Kensington in 2008 and continued to have a weekly mass in a small room behind the hall until 2014.
In 2013 the late metropolitan of Milan HE Anba Kyrillos established the vision to convert it into a new parish and convert the hall into a church.
Our Priest, Father Morkos Fakhry, was ordained as a priest to this parish on the 27th of February 2014 at the hands of HH Pope Tawadros II, and held the first mass at the church on 10th April 2014.
The church has gone through some construction work since then to improve the facilities.
In May 2017, the church was consecrated at the hands of HH Pope Tawadros II.
In November 2017 the Diocese of London was established and HE Archbishop Angaelos was enthroned as the first Archbishop of the Diocese of London. The Parish is since then part of the Diocese of London under the auspice of His Eminence.
