What is this service?
Spring Grove House is a Grade II listed building dating from the 18th century. It was originally the home of the famous botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who sailed the world with Captain Cook. The house was magnificently expanded and rebuilt in the late 19th century for the Pears family (of Pears soap fame) and retains much of its Victorian splendour it is a spacious and elegant building located within the west Thames College campus in Isleworth, West London.
The house is available to hire per room/per day and is a popular venue for business meetings, conferences and training events. West Thames College's Endeavour Theatre and sports hall are also available to hire for larger functions, shows, exhibitions, conferences and sports activities.
Spring Grove House is well connected, just 3 miles from Heathrow Airport, close to the A4 and easily accessible by public transport from central London within 30 minutes. How to find us.
It has subsequently been used as a backdrop for photo shoots and within BBC film productions. Most rooms have wi-fi internet access, additional audio visual and conference equipment can be provided upon request.
What we offer?
- Director’s Room/ Meeting Room: A smaller room with a large fireplace, deep red walls and dark oak panelling.
- Cook’s Room: This simply decorated room is full of natural light and features an impressive fireplace. It is linked to the Banks Room via a connecting door.
- Board Room: This room features a large bay window and an original fireplace.
- Banks Room: A light, airy room with French doors opening onto the terrace, chandeliers and two original fireplaces.
- Music Room/ Function Hall: Originally the concert hall of the house, complete with minstrels’ gallery, the Music Room is a spacious, bright room adjoining the Winter Garden.
- Winter Garden: A large, elegant conservatory with a glass ceiling, mosaic floor and an ornately tiled alcove
- Endeavour Theatre: West Thames College's Endeavour Theatre and sports hall can be hired for larger functions, shows, exhibitions, conferences. The theatre has seating for 140.

Free parking for disabled persons. Places are limited at peak times. Parking meters on roads around the campus. Free parking on Osterley Road.

Located in Isleworth. Easily accessible by public transport. Off-street parking is available, but this may be limited at busy times.

The Isleworth Campus is situated on the London Road (A315) between Hounslow & Brentford, next door to the Isleworth Fire Station. It is in TFL Zone 4.
