What is this service?
To help tackle the more frequent and intense heatwaves due to climate change, Hounslow Council and the Greater London Authority are coordinating cool spaces over summer for residents to rest and recover during periods of extreme heat.
The Community Stadium Hub will be available for people to cool down, with access to indoor temperatures of 26 degrees or less, free seating, free drinking water, accessible venue, free wi-fi available to connect to.

Follow the letters around the stadium until you reach the red tarmac by Gate F – we are located directly opposite this. If you are coming from the Great West Road area, turn onto Lionel Road South, walk over the bridge and turn left. Follow the letters around the stadium until you reach the red tarmac by Gate F – we are located directly opposite this. If you are coming from Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, follow Capital Interchange Way and turn on to Thomas Layton Way. Use the lift or stairs to reach our reception area on the red tarmac by Gate F – we are located directly opposite this. Getting Here: By bike We love to welcome cyclists to our Venue. There are bicycle racks on Thomas Layton way. Bikes left outside our gates are left at your own risk. We do not allow bicycles, tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, and scooters into the Venue. By bus Route 65 (Ealing Broadway/Kingston) stops at Kew Bridge station. Route 110 (Hammersmith/Hounslow) stops at Kew Bridge station. By train Kew Bridge station is 320m from The Community Stadium Hub. South West Trains run services from Waterloo, via Vauxhall and Clapham Junction. There is no level access at Kew Bridge. Richmond station has lift and level access. Take 65 bus (in the direction of Ealing Broadway) to Kew Bridge. Walking time from Kew Bridge Station is 5 minutes to the Community Stadium Hub. By tube Gunnersbury Station is 965m from the Community Stadium Hub. It is in Zone 3 and is served by the District Line and London Overground. There is no level access from the southbound or northbound platforms. It is possible to continue one stop to Richmond and catch a tube back to use the eastbound platform which does have level access. Ealing Broadway station connects to bus route 65, stopping at Kew Bridge Station. By car Please note: Parking at the Community Stadium Hub is extremely limited and only have accessible parking spots at the request of the stadium. CONGESTION ZONE & ULTRA LOW EMISSIONS ZONE (ULEZ) The Community Stadium Hub is not located within London’s Congestion Zone. It is included in the ULEZ.
