There are many different types of counselling and here at HYCS we offer a Humanistic approach –we believe that we are all able to grow and change given the right conditions.
Our counsellors will therefore listen carefully to what you say, without judging and in confidence, helping you to work through problems and to develop in your own way so that you can achieve your potential.
If you want to know more about the different types of counselling to see if this is the right approach for you – check out this link to the BACP guide to therapy types. If you are looking for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) please speak to your doctor who will be able to advise.
HYCS offers a free, 1-2-1 counselling service just for young people – whatever is troubling you, however big or small, we’re here to listen.
We want to make our service as accessible as possible for young people, so we offer counselling at a variety of locations including our main centre, local secondary schools, youth offending services and leaving care services:
Our centre in Isleworth is based at 78 St John's Road, Isleworth TW7 6RU.

Session times available by appointment as follows:
Monday - 3pm - 9pm Tuesday - 11am - 9pm Wednesday - 11am - 9pm Thursday - 11am - 9pm Friday - 2pm - 5pm

If you are a young person leaving care, just speak to your PA who can help to put you in touch with our HYCS counsellor for Care Leavers or you can contact HYCS directly.
I gain what I hoped to achieve by talking to more people. It has boosted my confidence as well. It really helps people who are struggling.
