What is this activity?

The Ealing Mini Mile – the ever-popular children’s running event is returning!

This great family and children’s event takes place the day before the Ealing Half Marathon in Lammas Park. The Mini Mile 2021 will be on Saturday 25 September, with start times (12pm – 4pm) depending on age group (6-16 years).

As this year sees our biggest ever field of runners, there will be SEVEN races depending on age and the start times are as follows*:

  • 12:00 Family Mini Mile

  • 12:40 6 year old

  • 13:15 7 year old

  • 13:50 8 year old

  • 14:25 9 year old

  • 15:00 10 year olds

  • 15:30 11 year olds

  • 16:00 12-16 year olds.

*All times are subject to change

The 2021 Family Mile is a fantastic chance for children aged five or under to take part in their own separate race along with an adult. A total of 200 places will be available, allowing for 200 children to run accompanied by a parent. The Family Mile is an exciting new addition to race day and promises to be popular with siblings of older children entering the Mini Mile as well as with all families wanting to enjoy a big community event together.

For young runners of any age and ability, the races are a perfect opportunity to experience a large sporting event and the thrill of crossing the finish line. The course covers a one-mile route around Ealing’s Lammas Park and the spectator support is superb, really motivating the young runners as they make their way round and celebrating with them as they cross the finish line and receive their medals.

All children in the Mini Mile and the Family Mile will receive a t-shirt, medal, chip timing on finishing.

The Ealing Mini Mile covers a one mile route around Ealing’s Lammas Park and there will be prizes for winners of the different age categories and every finisher gets their finish time.
