Founded in 1958, to foster interest and encourage research in the local history of the then Borough of Brentford and Chiswick, the Society has flourished!
The Group started following the publication of a series of "Feltham Notes" a quarterly magazine written and produced by local man. It was agreed that a regular meeting of those interested in local history would be a benefit, particularly to spread the long history of Feltham, Bedfont and Hanworth to the new and younger residents of the area.
Members attend many local fetes and fairs, exhibiting old photographs of the area, and are on hand to answer questions about the past.
