NCT Birth and Beyond Community Support is a programme that trains local women to become volunteer peer supporters in order to help mums during the all-important first 1,000 days.
There are 3 government schemes that offer funded childcare for eligible children aged 9 months to 5 years. This childcare can be taken up at an Ofsted registered day nursery, pre-school or with a childminder.

15 hours funded early education and childcare for 2-year-olds (for eligible families in receipt of additional support)
30 hours funded early education and childcare for children aged 9 months to 5 years (for eligible working families)
15 hours funded early education and childcare for all 3 and 4-year-olds
Each of the childcare schemes mentioned above have different eligibility rules so you will need to check which of the schemes is right for you. The 15 or 30 hours early education and childcare is funded but providers may charge for consumables such as food or nappies. Please make sure you are aware of any additional charges before you accept a place with a childcare provider.
