What is this service?

  • Golf An annual event that goes from strength to strength.  An opportunity to play on one of the country’s most prestigious courses. Details of the 2022 competition will be published soon.

  • Photography You may be an experienced amateur or you can simply enjoy taking pictures for your own and family enjoyment.  Prize winning pictures in the past have been taken by members using their mobile as well as those using ‘point and shoot’ cameras and digital and film SLR equipment.  For details of the latest competition click on the button.

  • Book Club  A Book Club was launched in November 2020 in response to suggestions by some of our members. A selection of 3 books is recommended every 6 weeks and members are invited to read one or more of them and then review their choice afterwards. Members who do not use computers are able to participate by post. We publish the book choices and the reviews in the Book Club area of our members section
