What is this service?

Hounslow Multi-Cultural Centre is at the forefront of serving the multi ethnic community of London Borough of Hounslow. Although predominantly from the Indian subcontinent, our members and users are from many and varied backgrounds.

Supported by local religious and voluntary groups and individuals and as a response to the need to help people and communities to integrate into the broader population of Hounslow, the Hounslow Multicultural Centre (HMCC) has been working as a medium between the statutory services and the voluntary sector, serving all the communities living in the London Borough of Hounslow since 1981.

The purpose of the Centre is to act as a focal point for activities that combat exclusion and provide basic advice, assistance, sustenance, friendship and opportunity to individuals to express the joy of their own cultures and religions.

For over 32 years, the Centre has been regularly used by thousands of people from various communities including the host community and has been one of the most successful projects of London Borough of Hounslow. Our organisation has a long working relationship with young and elderly population ranging from 5 to 95 years of age and has an excellent record to serve and support people from various cultural backgrounds in the Borough of Hounslow.
