Inclusive Joyful Activities – A Space to Move, Connect, and Thrive
Inclusive Joyful Activities is a welcoming and vibrant group designed for adults aged 18 and over with disabilities. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where everyone can express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful social connections through engaging activities.
- Our aims are To promote the health and well-being of people over 18 with additional needs
- To create a welcoming, safe, enjoyable, inclusive respite social environment where they can meet friends and be physical and mentally active at the same time
- Having meaningful fun physical & mental activities promotes less challenging behaviours and also enables better sleep.
- To encourage a sense of belonging and combat aloneness amongst this client group
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in joyful, inclusive experiences—regardless of ability. That’s why all our sessions are thoughtfully designed to be accessible, adaptable, and enjoyable for people with a wide range of needs and preferences.
Our activities focus on movement, creativity, and connection. Whether it’s light exercise, games, music, or group challenges, each session is crafted to encourage participation, boost well-being, and foster a sense of community. We also incorporate social time into our sessions, giving participants the chance to chat, make friends, and feel part of something special.
We understand that some individuals may require additional support to take part. If you need a Personal Assistant (PA) to help you during the session, you are very welcome to bring them along. Our environment is inclusive not just in design, but in spirit—we celebrate each person’s unique strengths and contributions.
