Your local library is now a Community Hub and Library, offering books and much more. You can talk to a member of staff about a range of issues, and they will help you to get online and find services and support to meet your needs.

What is this service?

Our core services include:

  • Books for reference and loan - for children and adults

  • Computers for work or internet use

  • Printing services (charges apply)

  • Free WiFi

  • A warm and comfortable atmosphere

  • Story time and/or Rhyme time sessions for pre-school children

  • Advice and support from staff on library matters

  • Advice and support from staff on a range of issues - including referral to Community Hub Advisors for more in depth work

While we work to provide a consistent service across the borough, each Community Hub and Library also has its own character and individual additional services.

  • Community Hub Partner visits throughout the week
