We have a current membership of over 300 members and would like to reach more people with ME and Long Covid, their families and carers. We are a friendly group and will give you a warm welcome.
We offer members support through newsletters, email bulletins, regular social meetings (online and face to face), closed email group for information exchange, postal library and signposting to benefit services. We have run over 500 online meetings in the last five years.
Richmond, Kingston and West London ME Group, is a peer support group for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), also diagnosed as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Long Covid and their families and carers.
Our purpose is to reduce isolation, provide support and information to our members, reach new members, raise awareness of ME and its devastating effect on people and their families. We aim to reduce the impact of ME on our lives.
If you have, or know someone who has, this condition and need support, you are very welcome to join us. Membership is free for those in financial hardship.
We offer members information and support through:
Regular newsletters and e-bulletins
Meet-up & chat online on Zoom or in local cafes.
Online Mindfulness, Crafting & Silent Reading
Website packed with useful information
Active WhatsApp community
Active closed email network for exchanging information
Benefits signposting
Facebook & Instagram feed
Periodic ME awareness raising events
Free to borrow Techbank and postal Library of ME information and resources
The sessions you are running of all sorts are really helping me survive emotionally and feel part of a community
