Short breaks provide opportunities for disabled children and young people to spend time away from their primary carers.
Dimensions support people with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling lives. We offer a mix of services such as supported living to meet individuals’ needs.

Most of our support for people with learning disabilities and autism is delivered through supported living – that is, support for people living in their own home, alone or with other people.
Whatever the format, we provide a highly personalised service, with each individual’s service provision being based on their views, needs and preferences. We support people to access the community and develop independent living skills.
We promote choice and inclusion. By listening to the people and families we support, we shape a service that is as individual as they are.
Involving the people we support and their families in the creation of the support plan is key to a successful service. We make sure each person is involved in their support via the recruitment of their staff teams.
We use staff matching tools and one page profiles to identify the characteristics of the ideal support worker and create bespoke job adverts with the person we support and their family. They are then involved in the shortlisting and interviewing of each person and decide who they would like to work with.
We believe that each person we support should have opportunities to develop relationships, learn new things and enjoy the activities they wish to do. Becoming part of the local community enables individuals to live an active and inclusive life.
Dimensions has developed particular expertise in supporting people out of assessment and treatment units and other institutions, into these types of living arrangements.
We have over 140 different contracts with local authorities, covering over 800 supported living properties. We are registered with CQC and are an accredited supplier to nearly 80 local authorities.
We sometimes have vacancies in these services as people progress to less intensive support.
