The Teashop by Mind Axis is a service that connects people over a cup of tea to enhance mental wellbeing, together.
During Teashop sessions, you will come together with others to participate in enjoyable activities like meditation, art-making, and yoga. We recently launched the Teashop+ which is a 5 week mindfulness based CBT based programme.
Through these sessions and programmes, you get to make your mental wellbeing a priority – as fun and easy as enjoying a cup of tea with friends.
Each Teashop session is held in English by an expert facilitator, either in-person or online over Zoom. Each session is free or low-cost since you pay what you can afford (between £0-£10). Each session is capped at 15 people.
The Teashop+ is a mindfulness-based CBT programme, which involves attendees completing online modules on the BeMindful app. The online component is supplemented by in-person sessions that last 2.5 hours on Sunday afternoons. The space is designed to be fun and relaxing, providing opportunities to connect with like-minded people and participate in engaging activities aimed at improving overall wellbeing.
To be eligible, you must be 18+ years old.
These sessions are not designed to treat mental health conditions. However, we welcome those who want to connect with others through life’s ups and downs.
Sign up on our website: https://www.mind-axis.com/sign-up. Sign ups for single Teashop workshops such as yoga or art therapy close 1 hour before the session time. For any workshops or programmes, If you can no longer make it, please cancel your booking in advance so your spot can be given to another person.
Our sessions are held in various accessible locations around London. Each session will specify the location.
Nothing for the in-person sessions – just bring yourself! All materials, tea, and refreshments will be provided.
We recently launched the Teashop+, the programme which aims to teach positive coping strategies, validate difficulties through shared stories and foster community engagement.
Our Teashop sessions are less structured and starts with an introduction and check-in over a cup of tea, followed by an activity, and ending with a group reflection. People are welcome to share their thoughts, emotions, and reflections during the session. Past participants have reported these sessions improve their mood, help them relax, and develop connections with others.
The Teashop+ programme is a five week co-designed and culturally adapted intervention. It includes in-person sessions and free access to a mindfulness based CBT based programme. Sign up here: https://theteashop.as.me/2025.

"It was really helpful to have a session that was time set aside to focus on one task and have dedicated time to being creative and de-stressing".
