Thistleworth Activity Camp

At Thistleworth we understand the pressure that working parents face during the school holidays in trying to balance childcare with busy work schedules. That why our Activity Camps provide a very flexible and easy to book service for those busy and difficult to manage situations.   

Our team of trained leaders and tennis coaches have been running holiday activity camps for over 15 years, so we know how to make them a fun, rewarding and exciting for children of all ages. 

Our Main Camp is for children aged from 8 to 15 years and runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm or alternatively half days are available.

Our Mini Camp is for children aged 5 to 7 years old and runs from 10am to 1pm each day.

Players at the Main or Mini Camp can attend as many or as few days as they wish. There is no requirement to book for the whole week.

However, if you book for the whole week you get 1-day free.

**Additionally, there is a 25% discount for siblings (1st child pays full price, 25% off any subsequent children)   **

Activities include - tennis; football; table tennis; cricket; baseball/rounder’s; chess; art/crafts; quizzes; cooking; cake decoration; t-shirt painting; fun food Fridays (make your own pizza) and much more.

The club has 7 all-weather tennis courts, a large grass area for field games and a clubhouse for indoor activities.

To guarantee a place, players must register in advance, so we can ensure good coach and player ratios. However, if you have a late request, please phone and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We appreciate that it is sometimes difficult for parents to plan several days in advance, so we will do our best to reschedule days when circumstances change. Full refunds will be given for sessions that are cancelled with 24-hrs notice or missed due to illness.

Thistleworth Tennis Club is an LTA Registered venue with the required safeguarding policies and procedures for the management of our tennis programme and camps.
