We offer a range of different models to suit the needs of the school, from standard and industry specific week long placements, to one-day Industry Insight days, which are popular for younger students.
Work experience placements give students a valuable insight into the world of work, and the opportunity to learn new skills and develop their independence and self-confidence. Enhanced work experience programmes are available for those students undertaking sector specialisms or applied courses, such as BTECs or other post-16 qualifications.
Spark! has a network of hundreds of businesses, from local high street businesses to international organisations, all of whom are excited to work with young people from their local area and grow local talent.
We work closely with our partner schools to help them organise high quality work experience programmes to enhance the work-related curriculum and ensure that students maximise their learning outcomes. We also liaise with employers to ensure they prepare and deliver excellent placements.
