There for parents when they need us most
Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers who, together with expert staff, support struggling families with children under the age of five through their challenging times.
Families facing mental health difficulties, post-natal depression, isolation, loneliness, the effects of domestic abuse and physical health problems (amongst others) receive emotional and practical support from us.
We offer a range of support options to families including telephone support, 'walk and talk,' home-visiting and family play-and-support groups, both in-person and online.
Areas we cover
We support families living across The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and London Borough of Hounslow.

If you’re a parent, grandparent or carer with 2-3 hours to spare each week then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for people who can use the knowledge and experience gained from looking after their own families to help support others who are struggling.
