The Digital Champions programme delivers digital skills to residents to help with their digital literacy and overall confidence using online tools.
If you’re a parent, grandparent or carer with 2-3 hours to spare each week then we would love to hear from you. We are looking for people who can use the knowledge and experience gained from looking after their own families to help support others who are struggling.

We serve a wide range of families and value diversity among our volunteers. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and with varied life experience. All you need to do is register your interest [email protected] and we will be in touch**.**
Who will I support?
We match volunteers with local families across the boroughs of Hounslow, Richmond and Kingston. You will support families who are finding it difficult to cope and provide them with emotional support, practical help and friendship. Each family situation is different and unique. You could be matched with a new parent, helping to build their confidence as they adapt to life with a small baby, or provide a listening ear to a mother who is suffering from postnatal depression or anxiety.
Our families are often facing difficulties such as feelings of loneliness and isolation, ill health, post-natal depression, disabilities, bereavement, relationship difficulties, lone-parenting or finding it challenging to cope with the demands of several pre-school children. Whatever the difficulty being faced, you’ll be offering much needed guidance and compassion to parents in a way that meets their needs. Just the simple act of talking and listening can really empower families to help them overcome some of the difficulties they may be facing, and our volunteers are fully trained and supported along the way to help them achieve this.
