The Residents' Association at Barratt House provides a coherent and legally sound method for communication with the property management company, landlord and other local stakeholders such as the police and council.
Barratt House was the first property on the High Street Quarter development to create a Residents' Association. Our work is divided across four groups: ensuring value for money and transparency with regard to service charges; ensuring our building is as secure and safe as possible; sharing information with residents, and liaising with other local groups and bodies.
Under our constitution we can currently only include those who are leaseholders at Barratt House as members, but other residents are welcome to our meetings as observers.
We are a relatively young organisation and very keen for new members to join and participate in our work, contributing to building a better community at Barratt House. The more people who join, the more powerful we become in taking control of our environment and the way our money is spent.
All leaseholders at Barratt House are eligible to join via application on the website.
