What is this service?

CAPACITY BUILDING

We are currently working with BME families in our borough to be active citizens in their own family, community and society as a whole. We do this through confidence building during our training session where we impress on individual sense of identity, confidence and self esteem.

PARTNERSHIP

We are also working in partnership with other community organization and our local council to provide relevant appropriate learning, personal development opportunities for non English speaking families.

WINTER FUEL POVERTY

We are working with those who are fuel poor to access the available fuel benefits. Particularly families who have children and older people. We are providing guidance on how to save energy and signpost to allowances and other available help.

HEALTH

At Brook of life, we invite health consultants on monthly basis to talk about health and prevent illness and disease. In particular, we focus on mental health issues and healthy lifestyles.
