Counselling

We aim to be a resource without judgement or stigma as you seek healing and hope by engaging your past and present and empowering you to move into healthier relationships in your family, culture and community.

Kairos counsellors are highly trained, hold degrees in counselling and are BACP and ACC registered.

We offer individual, couples, family and group counselling.

Individual:

Kairos is committed to creating a safe space to gently explore your past and your present; to understand who you are and who you were created to be. We also desire to empower you to move forward into deeper relational intimacy and we want to support you each step in this process.

Offer therapy for the following: anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, family of origin concerns and abuse.

Couples:

As with individuals, we are dedicated to helping a couple move towards deeper relational intimacy.

Offer therapy for the following: pre-marital counselling, communication, sexual struggles, spiritual concerns, abuse, divorce, remarriage, mixed families and transitions.

Family:

We want to offer that non-judgmental and compassionate space to walk with a family as they move toward healing and healthier relationships overall.

Offer therapy for the following: communication, abuse, trauma, grief, family of origin concerns, mixed families and transitions.

Group:

Group counselling is organised around a small number of individuals so the group members can express feelings freely and grow into a community of trust and support. Many individuals find group counselling helpful as when they hear others’ stories their own feelings are normalised and healing can begin.

Our groups can be designed to respond to a specific problem or topic.
