What is this activity?

What is Grow Wild?

Weekly sessions in Ham Avenues/The Copse and Ham Lands for young people and others who experience barriers to hands-on experience in the outdoors.

Grow Wild is one of the projects run by Let's Go Outside and Learn CIC, providing access to nature and outdoor learning in West London.

What do Grow Wild Volunteers do?

Grow Wild volunteers have been called "the next generation of naturalists" in the Richmond area. We engage with green spaces through conservation and management of parklands and woodlands using a variety of traditional, ecological methods.

Sessions are beneficial to the ecosystems as well as the mental and physical wellbeing of volunteers. Activities are made accessible.

What will I learn? How will I benefit?

We provide guidance instruction, tool induction and share wildlife knowledge with volunteers.

We can support your attendance through reasonable expense repayment, and adapting according to your access needs.

Excitingly you also have the option to achieve AQA certification.

The benefits to your fitness, sense of connection and mental health are significant! Make the most of this rare opportunity to get directly involved with your local area.
