Hounslow Music Service has a large number of musical instruments available for hire to help pupils access affordable instrumental lessons.

The hire scheme is very popular and demand for instruments is high, and so we operate a strict first come first served policy. Instruments can only be hired for the use of children who have lessons through a Hounslow Music Service tutor, or who are members of Hounslow Music Service ensembles.
The instruments in our hire scheme include: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, french horn, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium and tuba, as well as a number of other instruments. We do not hire pianos, keyboards or drumkits.
To hire an instrument or for further information, please contact the HMS on 020 3325 3142 or e-mail [email protected] . If there is an instrument available, you will need to come to the Music Centre at 64a Pears Road, Hounslow, TW3 1SR for collection.
We do not have resources to deliver instruments to schools.

HMS offers instrumental and vocal tuition in schools during the school day as well as in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. Tuition is offered on a range of instruments: strings, brass, woodwind, guitar, percussion, keyboard as well as singing lessons.

CSMC provides music lessons on a variety of instruments and styles including: Piano, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Drums, Percussion, Singing and Music Theory.
