What is this service?

These in-house work placements provide a perfect opportunity for candidates to learn new skills in a real work environment. They also allow members to build their confidence in a safe work environment, where making mistakes is seen as a valuable part of the learning process.

Blondin Park Community Cafe is a barista-style coffee shop open to the public inside the park setting and we have strong support from our local community. The cafe serves the purpose of not only helping our members develop skills and build confidence but also bringing people from the local community together to experience the real value gained by interacting with people with learning disabilities or autism. We aim to ‘normalise’ disability – making it an ordinary part of life, alongside serving a high-quality menu

Blondin Park Pavilion aim to establish relationships with local companies to secure suitable employment opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities or autism.
