Pump and Grind is a barista-style coffee shop open to the public inside a museum setting and we have strong support from our local community. The cafe serves the purpose of not only helping our members develop skills and build confidence but also bringing people from the local community together to experience the real value gained by interacting with people with learning disabilities or autism. We aim to ‘normalise’ disability – making it an ordinary part of life, alongside serving a high-quality menu
Pump and Grind aim to establish relationships with local companies to secure suitable employment opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities or autism.
