What is this group?

This Association has been in existence since 1981 and has established itself as an organised body to represent and protect the interests of local residents based upon the following three main objectives:

  1. To protect and improve the quality of life in the area.

  2. To inform members of any proposed developments which may affect amenities in the area.

  3. To present the views of the Association to the appropriate organisations, agencies and elected members of local and central government.

We are non-political and non-sectarian; our sole aim being to protect the interests of residents in the area. The Association is affiliated to HACAN and the CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England).

The Association works as a Neighbourhood Watch Group, with Committee members serving as street co-ordinators.

The Committee meets monthly and is frequently attended by our Community Police who keep us up to the minute with local issues.

Members have regular invitations to our social events and get-togethers.
