The approach offers ways of helping young people meet emotional needs though means other than sex – for example through supportive friendships. There is a lot of pressure on young people to be in relationships and/or to have sex. By focusing on the importance and benefits of friendships young people can feel positive about themselves and more confident in their peer group. These workshops focus around supporting young people in delaying early sex.

With the world becoming more and more independent on the internet, HFC allows young people access to internet for home-work research, job search, etc.
Young people experiencing social-exclusion, bullying and isolation, can find friends at HFC. We run workshops helping you to work on your fears, improve your social skills, make friends and build relationships with peer groups. HFC provides a safe environment to discuss mutual issues and concerns, and work together to find solutions.
