What is this service?

There are 6 key strands to our service delivery and projects.

  1.  We run a training programme for volunteers, offering employable courses such as apprenticeship programmes, customer services courses, ESOL for work, BTEC security courses, health & social care courses, governance and charity and employment law and race relations law, amongst others. We aim to deliver lifelong skills support to Hounslow resident though programmed courses funded within and by the London Borough of Hounslow (LBH).

  2.  We will build capacity with ATASS by offering one to one support to volunteer service users through the Local Strategic Partnership - including organisations such as Job Centre Plus and other partners.

  3.  We will provide specialised advice and advocacy support to newly accepted arrivals from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities (BAME), and also provide advice in the area of employment law, anti-racial and hate crimes, human rights immigration, housing, domestic violence and welfare and benefits.

  4.  We provide an holistic approach to support vulnerable “newly accepted” immigrants   (those granted refugee and asylum status)and non - English speaking EU nationals into Hounslow to be able to integrate into their local communities

  5.  We monitor and evaluate our projects and other, related projects to achieve the "3 e's"; to be efficient, economic and effective.

  6.  We support the most vulnerable and excluded young people who are at risk of crime, offending, anti-social behaviour and pose a real challenge to their families, parents and the communities at large to bring them into the mainstream.
