What is the community support drop-in?

We realise the need for people to have a space where they can feel listened to. Our listening lounge is simply a space where you can talk, drink a cup of tea in a warm and safe space and even ask for prayer if you feel comfortable doing so.

Employment Plus is a Salvation Army run service which looks to support people improve their employability. They offer support on practical matters such application writing and interview skills as well as building confidence and aspiration.

Need advice about something specific? There will be professionals present to answer your questions and give you the right guidance of where to get the best support.

There will be times when money is tight and you need some emergency help. Our Community food cupboard will be available for anyone to access emergency food support. If being able to purchase food continues to be a concern, we will support you in accessing local food banks.

Why we do what we do...

The Salvation Army's identity is founded upon the Love of God. God has shown his love to us through Jesus and our only right response is to Love God with all that we do.
