service
We are currently working with BME families in our borough to be active citizens in their own family, community and society as a whole.
Our Life After Baby group is just for that. It’s a place where moms from all walks of life can come and share their experiences over a cup of tea. Their children can play freely and have fun during messy play or song and rhyme time.

At Brooks of Life Ministries we believe in that women need other women. The word of God speaks in Titus 2 that older women should teach the younger women. Mothering does not come with an instruction manual so how better than to learn from the experiences of other mothers. Our Life After Baby group is just for that. It’s a place where moms from all walks of life can come and share their experiences over a cup of tea. Their children can play freely and have fun during messy play or song and rhyme time.
Whether you as a mother have just had your first baby or sixth and have a houseful of children LAB is for you!
LAB is not a typical mother and baby group. Yes we do many normal things like free play, song and rhythm, snacks and such but we also aim to help you not just as a mother but also as a woman...a partner and as a friend.
Every 8 weeks or so we have someone come to a talk about things such as aromatherapy, baby massage, healthy teeth for you and baby, healthy weight and other things you as a woman might need some tips on. We even have a day or two where you can have a taster pamper session and have a facial or manicure.
At LAB we are sure you will meet and develop friendships with other woman who have or are experiencing some of same things as you.
Our staff are trained and qualified counsellors also and are even available at other times during the week if you just need a friendly ear to listen.
LAB is free (although we do accept a small donation if you are able) and is open to Mothers, carers, grandparents and yes even Dads with children 0-4 years of age. Why not come along for a tea and bisquit and some fun for YOU and your child

service
The service involves Age UK Hounslow volunteers who have been recruited, inducted and trained to speak to elderly and vulnerable residents at home. We aim to match a volunteer, called a `Befriender’ to the resident taking on board language issues / interests etc where possible.
