The work of CPU supports communities to shape where they live and develop pride in their neighbourhood. This is delivered through projects across the borough that engage directly with residents and their communities.
This team also manages the Council’s Thriving Communities Fund. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic the work of our charities, voluntary and community groups and places of worship has been essential in keeping our borough going and the Council is committed to continue our support for them with grants from the Thriving Communities Fund.
