Bhangra Keep Fit Project

It is Bhangra Keep Fit Project offering to women in 50 plus age group to motivate them to dance to Bhangra music in a group setting to stay physically and mentally healthy. We also introduced chair dancing and Dandiya recently.

What is this activity?

The sessions are designed to encourage women to stay healthy by using dance as a means of exercise while meeting like-minded women in the borough to overcome loneliness and isolation. Our dance sessions are led by an instructor and will last an hour,

Chair dance enable women with restricted mobility to participate in the activity while sitting on the chair.

What we offer?

  • Weekly sessions on Tuesday’s from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm
  • Weekly sessions on Tuesday’s from 2 pm to 3 pm
