We run internal groups and courses, as well as supporting service users in accessing services and amenities in their local community. This can include exercising at gyms and swimming pools or going to local cinemas and theatres, which also helps them to develop their individual strengths while building on social inclusion skills to help improve self-confidence, independence and self-determination.
The service also encourages service users to improve their skills and employment prospects by enrolling in local adult education and employment training programmes, to enable them to build a future outside the mental health system.
Potential service users are now able to self-refer if they feel they would benefit from our services.
